IED is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) that aims to enable its beneficiaries to lift themselves out of extreme poverty. In the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the Government, civil society and private sector have each a role to contribute to efforts geared towards the eradication of absolute poverty that the majority of Congolese are mired in. We want to fill our role by bringing to poor communities sustainable tools and strategies to fight poverty.
